2002 Paul Hobbs Napa Valley Cabernet
This is one of the best Napa Cabernets I have tasted. It scored 94 points in Wine Spectator Magazine and really deserved it too. I was silky smooth and had a lush fruit forwardness to it that is unmatched by many top Napa producers. Flavors of rasberry, blackberry, strawberry, but not a total fruit bomb either. It had hints of smooth chocolate and a slight oakiness that didn't mess with the fruit. It peaked after being open(but vaccumed) for about two days. I would score it 94-95 points easily.
