Ben's Run 2002 Shiraz

So is all the new hype on Aussie Shiraz worth it's trouble? YES!!! I'm tasting the 2002 Ben's Run Shiraz from Australia and it is fantastic. Dark purple in color and a fantastic nose boasting dark berry fruit, espresso, and that light marshmellow scent that I love in my Shiraz/Syrah's. This wine is incredibly silky with flavors of cassis, black berry, and soft spices. The finish is fairly long but leaves the palate clean. I would score it 89 points and give a g'day mate to this Aussie Shiraz.
