Adelsheim Pinot Noir 2005

A great effort from a great Willamette Valley vineyard the 2005 Adelsheim Pinot Noir packs loads of strawberry aromas with secondary notes of tart raspberry, and cherry-nut on the nose. The very vibrant, fresh, and yet subtle flavors are of strawberry cream and white cherry, balanced with perfect acidity. This wine is a true testament of the quality coming out of Oregon in terms of classic Burgundian varietals. I score this Pinot 91 points.
