2004 Far Niente Estate Cabernet

First off this wine is way to young to be opened, but I bought the bottle and on the way home something happened and it started to leak. I didn't feel comfortable in cellaring the bottle for a few years if it had already started to leak so I cracked it open. The wine is obviously young and has a dark consistent ruby color. The aromas are of dark chocolate, dust, dark cassis, and black raspberry. Now I'm not going to lie, the wine tastes way to young and has a lot of tannin and back bone but the flavor profile is showing potential with hints of cherry, dark fruits such as black currant and black raspberry, and oak that is no doubt very prevalent. I can see this wine getting much better with about 5 to 10 years of cellaring where the tannin will become more integrated. I score the wine 90 points but my opinion could change if I taste the same wine a few years from now.
