2005 Dashe Late Harvest Zinfandel

This is some of the most delicious wine I have ever tasted. A beautiful example of a well balanced dessert wine that is made to express the true essence of the varietal. Dark purple in color and aromas of fresh strawberry preserves, dried apricot and plums, and slight floral hints. The flavors are just as brilliant as the nose showing sweet black raspberry notes along just piles of strawberry preserves. I think this is the best late harvest Zin on the market by a mile. I score the wine 93 points.
