2004 Paul Hobbs Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2004 Paul Hobbs Napa Cabernet Sauvignon has a nice dark red color and a fantastic multi-layered bouquet of blackberry, chocolate, black licorice, oak, spice, and dusty currants! This wine has a fantastic nose to be completely honest and flavors that follow suit showing lush flavors of spicy-blackberry, well integrated oak, dark chocolate, licorice, and cedar. The oak is hiding the fruit ever so slightly but this will eventually develop into a more fruitful wine. A very complex wine with a long interesting finish. This wine will only improve with a few years of aging. Another great Cabernet from Paul Hobbs. 93 Points.
