EASTON House, California - Lot 0102

House or "H" is a new fun, easy drinking everyday table wine composed of predominately Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet is from the 01' vintage and the Syrah from the 02' making it a technically non-vintage wine. The nose on this baby is what really turned me on to it. Aromas of beautiful tea leaf, cola, mulberry, and a Zinfandel like character. When I smelt the wine for the first time I thought it had to be Zin based but to my surprise it was Cab/Syrah. The flavors carry over from the nose and the wine tastes a lot like Zinfandel too. I think this wine is a steel for around $12 and one should seek it out! 90 Points from a QPR standpoint!
