2004 Amavi Cabernet Sauvignon

This impressive Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia Valley boasts a gorgeous bouquet of ripe red raspberry and sensuous black cherry. The flavors are deep and mouthwatering and show notes of black cherry, blackberry, and a smooth core of sweet but firm tannin. This is a very nice and polished effort. This wine is another example of how Washington wines continue to impress me with their seriousness and complexity. 91 points
