2000 Terredavino La Mora Barolo

It was tough to find any valid information on this wine and how it was produced and vinified and such is the case with lots of Italian wines. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this wine and the brilliant aromatics Nebbiolo almost always offers. The aromas showed beautiful aromas of a classic fig, tea leaf, ripe plum, and loads of cherry. Very soft and sleek on the palate showing flavors of mouthwatering Rainier cherries, soft hints of leather, sweet tobacco, and tea leaf. A very nice and developed Barolo with great complexity and a long seductive finish of plums and figs. As a avid wine taster here in the United States, I get the opportunity to taste through lots of wine, most of which is domestic. I really enjoy when an Italian wine puts me back in check. The aromas, flavors, and overall complexity of these Piedmontese wines grabs my attention every time. 92 Points
