The color of this wine was very light, in fact if it was any lighter it would almost pass for a rose. The bouquet showed notes of fresh strawberry, mineral, and sandalwood. The flavors were of soft strawberry, Rainer cherry, and minerals. This wine improved with a bit of aeration as do most wines. The finish was a little warm but I have grown to expect this from most Russian River Pinot's(high octane)! 88 points
