The bouquet expresses dark notes of black currant, espresso, and black licorice. Rich dark chocolate truffle and black raspberries are also expressed in the nose but the dominant cassis and currant are what really show in the aromas. On the palate heavy doses of oak, blackberry, cassis dominate the flavors profile. This is a deeply extracted wine with lots of power but it somehow to me lacks depth. The purity of fruit is certainly there but the layers didn't quite unfold enough. I admit I jumped the gun on this wine and would like to see it again in about 5-10 years but as of today I score it 91 points.

I like your wine blog. It would be nice if you included the price of the wines you review, as that would help me to determine whether or not I choose to seek them out, as well as give an indication of value.
I will consider this but ou can easily find the price on wine searcher too!
