2006 Coldstream Hills Pinot Noir

This Australian Pinot Noir is from the Yarra Valley Appellation and is deep in color and has distinct aromas of plum, black cherry, toasted oak, and subtle hints of blueberry. On the palate the fruit is pure and ripe showing nuances of cherry and plum skin. This Pinot is very drinkable indeed and most Pinot lovers will concede that this is a good effort and although not extremely complex it delivers good pure fruit and varietal expression. The texture and body of the wine are pleasing and the finish is medium in length. Overall a good bottle of wine which is worthy of 90 points.

Hi,

we got excellent wines in Israel, maybe you want to write about them. Start with the Kazrin Yarden 2003 - you'll be surprised!

Price quality ratio seems to be excellent.
