2007 Trinitas Cellars Chardonnay

This Chardonnay from the Sonoma side of Carneros is a wine that totally delivers for it's price point. In fact I really enjoyed this wine's complexity and dense flavor, in fact it drinks like many $50-60 dollar Chards. The aromas boast beautiful nuances of caramel apple, creamy oak, buttered toast, and a tropical pineapple-mango touch. The palate is both intense and full flavored and shows notes of dulce de leche, yellow apple, pear, and condensed milk caramel. The acidity is lively and sharp which balanced out the creamy and buttery notes and if this wine were a tad more viscous I would say it would be competing with the Kistlers of the Chardonnay world. Loved the wine - 91 points
