From a relatively small producer this non-vintage Champagne from Reims is loaded with aromas of bread, mineral, wet stone, lemon, and ginger bread cookie. Very yeasty and bread dough like on the palate, this wine is full bodied and shows tropical fruit flavors, banana, coconut, mineral, crushed rock, and a touch of rubber band. Overall a decent wine that finishes nice and long. The only thing I would say that it lacks is a bit of ripe fruit and the "it factor" to make this a stunning value. At $36 pretty much anything from Champagne is a deal and this wine is worth a try if you're in need of a quality low dollar sparkler.
