On the nose I get some really interesting aromas of yellow apple, honeysuckle, orange marmalade, kiwi, and just hints of chalky soil and mineral. It's not quite as floral as some Viognier's, but it's still very interesting.....
On the palate the wine display's flavors of apple, anjou pear, meyer lemon, and sea shell. It has a savory character to it and a slight saltiness that balances nicely with the fruit and acidity. With the right dish, this easy drinking and somewhat simple white wine could possibly be transformed into something quite stunning. 86 points
